I am a professional educator who loves going to work each day and learning with my students. I am a wife, and mom to two adult children, a chinchilla. In addition to teaching, I am also the Director of Christian Education at my church. I love reading and going to the movie theater, as well as playing the clarinet.   

     For over 2 decades my classes have been organized in a looping arrangement for 5th and 6th grade. This provides numerous benefits such as time to foster a close-knit community with a deep level of trust.

     Technology is used in our classroom to communicate and stay connected, to share and explore ideas, to create, and to organize information.
